What’s this whole challenge thing?
The challenge is an invitation for participants to experiment with feminist visualization strategies and approaches to create visualizations related to a project Jill and Kate are leading on the use of public information campaigns as border enforcement strategies. Submissions are due on April 9th and we’ll be giving out 5 awards inspired by feminist insights/perspectives. More info on the challenge can be found HERE.
Are you able to offer any accommodations during the sessions?
We will offer closed captioning (in English) during sessions. Note that this captioning will be provided via Zoom’s AI technology, which is limited and biased like all AI which is important to recognize. If you are aware of other, better technologies that we can utilize within a Zoom meeting please let us know!
